Lake Erie Metropark Golf Course - Brownstown, MI

This course was built on predominantly flat terrain and alongside the wetlands near Lake Erie. The undulating greens are extremely large and easy to three putt. The narrow fairways have been raised for better drainage, so if you don't hit a straight tee shot you can end up in trouble. The design is highlighted by twenty acres of ponds. Marsh areas may also come into play if you hit a real errant shot. Wildlife is sometimes visible. The signature hole is #15, a 151-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green. The scenery is a combination between wooded areas and wetlands, so the course will remain beautiful throughout the entire year.
